The task
Manual arrival and departure records create routine administrative work. The project brought staff attendance into a Django/PostgreSQL service at a university.
My role
I developed the service and its attendance workflows. The case focuses on that backend contribution; it does not claim a particular recognition method or access device.
How it works
An arrival or departure becomes a record in the attendance process. Staff attendance can then be reviewed as structured data.
Technical decisions
Django provides the service layer and PostgreSQL stores the records. This describes the technology and process recorded in my CV; internal data models and deployment details are withheld.
Reliability and boundaries
Attendance data needs understandable record handling. The key boundary for this case is the move from manual check-in/check-out to an automated service workflow.
What was delivered
The system replaced manual staff attendance processes. The institution, employee records and real attendance data are withheld.
