Portfolio CMS and AI editorial workflow

A multilingual Django portfolio with editable cases, an AI draft workflow and a prepared analytics integration.

The task

A personal website needs to explain the work and remain easy to update. This project brings a portfolio, resume, original writing and learning materials into one multilingual Django application.

My role

My work covers the site structure, templates, content models and the editorial workflow. The interface keeps the profile concise while project pages provide space for the actual engineering decisions.

How it works

An administrator edits articles and project records. An editorial brief can produce Uzbek, Russian and English drafts through the OpenAI Responses API; review and publication remain separate steps.

Technical decisions

Django renders the pages on the server. Localized content, sanitized HTML, canonical URLs, hreflang, sitemaps and JSON-LD are part of the same publishing system. Display images use lightweight WebP copies.

Reliability and boundaries

Applications is restricted to active staff. Drafts stay private and unreviewed cases stay outside the search index. The isolated preview uses a separate database; analytics excludes local, private and staff pages.

What was delivered

The portfolio, admin-managed catalogs and editorial operations are implemented. A dedicated GA4 account and Search Console link are configured; production rollout and real event delivery remain separate acceptance steps. MCP content management is the next planned extension.
